Do you think Dexter Morgan (from Showtime’s Dexter), follows a monomyth/hero’s journey type of storyline?

 We were assigned in AP English class to write about monomyths in modern culture and right away what came to mind was Dexter. I just need some affirmation that it is possible to link his story and all with the common mythological story. |
