I think what gives me more the chills about this scene more than the fact the entire room is covered in blood is hearing Dexter when he was younger in background, the crying all distorted.

When I first watched this I was amazed…I know it might sound strange but…that blood splatter was good…Not that it wasn’t sick…if it was real I would be throwing up…but its not…so I find it a very well done scene…yeah

Actually the reason why it’s thick is because the blood has started to congeal already, which gives it a gravy-like consistency.

yep he mentioned in an interview that the blood is a mixture of maple syrup and food colouring. mch is such a talented actor…the way he fell, some ppl can make it loook fake. he made it look super real and i felt it when he hit the floor!

I’m glad my parents named me DEXTER and what a cool show they made a killer killing bad guys. He should use the Death Note LOL make his killing easier to do.
